1997年製の Power Mac 9600 完動品一式を出品します。

Apple Mouse、Apple Keyboard、IO DATA製LCDディスプレイ、さらに元箱（PM9600/300の箱）も付属します。

LCDは別箱で発送するため、箱は合計2箱になります。

本機は大型で場所は取りますが、Mac OSとの互換性が広いのが魅力です。

System 7.5.2 から Mac OS 9.1 まで、特別な改造なしで起動できます。

なお、上級者向けですが、無料で入手できる「XPostFacto」を使えば、Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger を動かす改造も可能かもしれません。

本体にはRAM増設とCPUアップグレード、さらにPCI拡張カードを搭載しています。

元オーナー出品で、今回出品にあたり動作確認を行い、問題なく動作することを確認済みです。

HDDは2台あり、どちらも初期化済みです。

System 7.6.1、Mac OS 8.1J、Mac OS 8.6J、Mac OS 9.1 をクリーンインストールしてあります。

Ethernet接続でインターネットにも接続できます。

あらかじめ Webブラウザ、日本語ワープロソフト「EG Word」、ゲームソフトなどを入れてあります。

EG Word は、元箱・説明書付きのCD-ROM版です。

キーボードとマウスは清掃済みで、動作確認済みです。

本機は入念にテストしており、動作良好ですが、発売から29年経過した中古品です。

・RAM DIMM 6枚：32MB×2枚、64MB×4枚（合計320MB）

・ATI Rage 128 16MB PCIグラフィックカード（VGA接続、24ビットフルカラー対応）

・HDD 4GB（純正ドライブ、動作良好。FWB HD Toolkitで3パーティションに分割済み）

・HDD 162MB（以前に“stiction”症状がありましたが、最近の確認では正常に動作しました）

・内蔵24倍速CD-ROMドライブ（読み込み専用／書き込み不可）

・内蔵ZIPドライブ（ドライブのダストカバーは外れていますが、同梱します。動作は問題ありません）

・OrangeLink PCIカード（FireWire 400×2、USB 1.0×2）。外付けドライブの動作確認では少し相性がありました。

・PM9600の樹脂ケースは大きな破損はなく、細かな擦れや汚れはあります。

・マザーボードのコンデンサは未交換ですが、現時点で電解液漏れの兆候はありません。

・電源ユニットは純正のままで、コンデンサ交換はしていませんが、今回のテストでは問題なく動作しました。

・1.44MBフロッピードライブは、NOS（新品同様保管品）のドライブに交換済みで、快調に動作します。

・PRAMバッテリ國際運送規定電池為危險物品，無法運送，購買後會幫您取出丟棄。ーは付属しません。

・外装には多数のキズがあり、液晶画面にはクリーニング跡があります。使用感はあります。

・画面左側に、ぼやけた薄い暗部があります。写真をご確認ください。背景によっては目立たない場合もあります。

・9600との接続で動作確認済みです。なお、内蔵スピーカーは未確認です。

・Apple Desktop Bus Mouse II（M2706）

 底面のステッカーはありません。こじ開け跡があります。清掃のため分解しています。動作は良好です。

・Apple Extended Keyboard II（M3501、日本語配列）

 背面に傷がありますが、正面からは見えません。内部清掃のため開封済みです。引っかかっていたキーは DeOxit D5 で清掃し、現在は問題なく動作しています。ADBポートは両方とも正常です。背面の高さ調整も問題ありません。

・本体とキーボードは、Appleロゴ入りの箱で発送します。Appleの箱を輸送時の汚れや傷から保護するため、外側を紙とテープで簡易梱包しています。こちらの箱の重量は22kgです。

・モニター、ケーブル、CD、箱入りソフト、ZIPディスク、マウス、純正CPUなどは、別箱で発送します。こちらの箱の重量は10kgです。

Up for sale is a complete Power Mac 9600 computer system from 1997, including Apple Mouse, Apple Keyboard & IO DATA LCD Display. Original PM9600/300 box included. LCD will ship in a second box, for two boxes total. 

This computer is large and bulky, but it offers broad Mac OS compatibility. You can enjoy booting into System 7.5.2 up through OS 9.1, without hacks. Advanced users who know how to use "XPostFacto" software (not included, but free online) may be able to hack the system to run OS X 10.4 Tiger.

This PM9600 system has RAM & CPU upgrades installed, along with add-on PCI cards. System is being sold by its original owner and has been fully tested. There are two hard drives, both freshly formatted, with clean installs of System 7.6.1, OS 8.1J, OS 8.6J & OS 9.1. Connects to the Internet via Ethernet. Pre-installed software include Web browsers, the popuplar Japanese word processor "EG Word", and some games. EG Word comes on CD-ROM with original boxes and paper manuals. Connects to the Internet by Ethernet (standard RJ45). Keyboard and Mouse have been cleaned and tested.

Although this computer system has been extensively tested and works well, please understand that it is 29 years old and is not in new condition.  Therefore, no exchanges or refunds or returns are accepted.

・ Internal 24x CD-ROM drive (Reader only. No Write capability.) 

・ Internal ZIP Drive (drive dust-door broke off but is included, drive works fine)

・ OrangeLink PCI Card offering 2 Firewire 400 & 2 USB 1.0 ports (I had issues getting external drives to work)

・ PM9600 plastic case appears largely undamaged and with only minor scuffs and dirty areas that may or may not clean off 

・ Motherboard Capacitors have NOT been changed, but currently no signs of electrolyte leakage

・ Power Supply is stock and has not been recapped, but worked fine during our recent testing

・ 1.44MB Floppy drive was replaced with a New Old Stock drive that works great

17" LCD Display (IO DATA A175VH) DETAILS

・ Plastic case has many scratches and the LCD shows cleaning streaks. It is clearly used, but the black color can help to hide small defects in certain lighting conditions.

・ Panel Defect: blurry and faint dark area on left side. See photo. May or may not be viewable, depending on background.

・ TFT with 170° viewing angles

・ Native Resolution: SXGA, 1280×1024 pixels

・ Tested fine with 9600, but built-in speakers were not tested

・ Monitor will ship with stand removed. You only need a Philips screwdriver to re-attached the stand with the included 3 screws.

・ Apple Desktop Bus Mouse II (M2706): Missing sticker on bottom. Some pry-marks. Disassembled to clean. Works well.

・ Apple Extended Keyboard II (M3501, Japanese): Some gashes on back, but can't be seen from the front. Opened to clean insides. Sticking keys were cleaned with DeOxit D5 and now work fine. Both ADB ports working. Rear Height Adjustment works fine.

・ The monitor, cables, CDs, boxed software, ZIP disk, Mouse, stock CPU, etc. will ship in a second box. This box weighs 10kg.
