Be sure to check out my other listings for vintage dolls and accessories. I am happy to combine shipping.Beautiful vintage Ideal Toni P-90 doll measuring approximately 14 inches tall. Dating to around the early 1950s, she is marked IDEAL DOLL with the P-90 mold designation on the back of her neck.She has green sleep eyes and an exceptionally long brunette wig. Her hair is very fine and feels remarkably similar to human hair, although I believe it is the original-style synthetic/nylon hair associated with Toni dolls. The hair is very long, full, and currently tangled/messy from age and storage. I have intentionally left it as found rather than attempting to brush, wash, cut, or restyle it.She is wearing an interesting vintage outfit consisting of a floral puff-sleeve upper portion, black bodice area, purple ribbon trim/lacing, and a long checked skirt. The purple ribbon coordinates with the ribbon in her hair. I have not been able to confirm the clothing as original Ideal/Toni clothing. Portions appear to have been homemade or altered at some point. The skirt has actually been sewn into the ribbon/bodice arrangement, so I have not attempted to remove the clothing for fear of damaging it. Please see photos of the body areas that could safely be exposed.Condition is vintage and as found. She has age-related surface wear, scuffs, marks and discoloration. There is wear/smearing to the painted lips and wear to the painted fingernails and toenails. There is some surface crazing/wear around the neck and staining/residue visible on the torso beneath the clothing. Her hard-plastic legs and feet appear structurally quite nice, with no major damage noted. Hair is tangled and unstyled. Clothing is aged, soiled/stained in areas, altered and imperfect.Please examine all photos closely, as they are an important part of the condition description. She is being sold as found and has not been restored.A wonderful early Ideal Toni doll with a particularly striking amount of long brunette hair and beautiful green eyes. She would make an excellent candidate for display, preservation, or restoration.PLEASE NOTE: This item is currently stored in a smoke-free home. However, it is a vintage/secondhand item and I cannot speak to the environments in which it was previously stored. Vintage items may retain odors associated with age, storage, or prior ownership.
